Nonprofits connect through Agency Exec Council

CRM-for-nonprofits1.jpg The Agency Executive Council is a group comprised of the Executive Directors from the partner agencies of United Way of Wyandotte County. The directors come together every other month for lunch and presentations related to issues their nonprofits face.

“The UWWC’s Agency Executive Council is an excellent networking opportunity for busy nonprofit leaders,” said Dennis Boody, Executive Director of Riverview Health Services. “Every meeting provides an opportunity for updates regarding changing needs and resources in our community as well as a forum to share best practices and helpful tips.”

Each meeting is hosted by a different nonprofit, which gives leaders from that organization a chance to share their services and resources with the other directors. The most recent meeting, hosted by Riverview Health Services, also included a presentation about NonProfit Succession Planning by Scott Clark, Vice President of the SW District of the YMCA of Greater Kansas City.

The next Agency Executive Council meeting will take place May 1 at El Centro, with a presentation on risk management. All United Way of Wyandotte County agency executives are encouraged to attend.
